  • Immunizations
    Children entering the Preschool for the first time must present certification from a physician or local health department that the child has received the tests and immunizations require by the Virginia Department of Health. Children who have begun but who have not completed the required immunizations may enroll and remain in school while getting the remainder of the required immunizations in all required series.

    Failure to be current in immunizations or to provide the Preschool with a state-approved alternative to immunizations shall result in the child’s exclusion from school until such time as the information is furnished.

  • The parent shall receive notice of such exclusion from the Preschool. This notice shall state:
    1. the reason for the exclusion from the Preschool; and
    2. that the child shall be excluded until s/he has complied with the requirements of Virginia law.
  • Health Assessment
    Children must have current health assessments upon registering or before entering the Preschool program.
  • Age
    Children need to be 30 months old on or before August 31 of the preschool year in question.
  • Other Considerations
    It is preferred that children are toilet trained upon the start of preschool. If your child is almost to the point of being toilet trained, we require parents to provide 10 diapers or pull-ups.
  • Nondiscrimination Clause
    The MVPC Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, hiring practices, admission policies, financial aid, and other school programs.

Tuition and Payment Procedures
MVPC Preschool requires tuition to be paid on or before the first of the month. A $30.00 per month rebilling fee will be charged if payment is made after the 15th of the month. If an account becomes 30 days past due, the family has 10 days to bring the account within the 30-day limit. Failure to do so will result in the child being withdrawn from the school until the account is current.*

  • A two-week advance written notice will be given to parents before a child is withdrawn from the Preschool program due to delinquent fees.
  • Tuition payment No. 1 must be received by May 15th. If tuition payment has not been received by that date, the placement will be released. This advanced payment is refundable till July 1st. No refunds given after July 1st.
  • If you must withdrawal your child at any time after July 1st, we require 30 days’ notice in writing to the school Director, or without such notice, the next tuition payment will be due. No adjustments are made for absences.
