Working with Robert Pierre Johnson Housing Development Corporation (RPJ Housing), we aid our neighbors by helping those who are low-income homeowners and residents of non-profit facilities, particularly seniors, persons with disabilities and families with children. Thus, they are better able to remain in their homes in improved conditions. MVPC participates in "Rebuilding Together", an area-wide home repair project of RPJ Housing. Volunteers paint, fix-up, repair, clean and landscape. It takes place on the 4th Saturday in April and is coordinated by the Outreach Council. An MVPC member serves on the RPJ Housing Board of Directors.
