Enthusiastic, loving helpers in a well-equipped nursery and toddler room help to introduce infants and toddlers, birth through age 2, into the church community. Elaine Silva, our Nursery Attendant is available each Sunday morning to provide consistency and loving care to your child(ren). The Nursery is available during both worship services, as well as Faith Journeys, the Church School hour for all ages. The Nursery is also available during most special events in the life of the congregation.
Preschoolers, 3 and 4 year olds and children 5 but not yet attending Kindergarten, attend an age appropriate Sunday School class from 9:45 -10:45. Parents are to bring their child(ren) to class and pick them up afterwards. Parents are encouraged to attend church school classes for adults. There is usually a class to discuss Christian parenting.
Infants through preschoolers are welcomed to remain in the sanctuary throughout the worship experience. Following the Time with the Children, 2 to 4 year olds may be escorted by a parent to the CE building for childcare. Children ages 4 as of September 30 and through the third grade are invited to participate in Children in Worship. Children 4th grade and older attend worship with their parent(s). Middle school and high school students, with the approval of the CE Council may assist in the nursery or other activities for young children.
