The SOAR Committee was established in October 1985 to be responsible for, supervise, and
administer the MVPC special endowment funds called the Mustard Seed Fund. This Committee also was
established to provide a program to assist members and others to consider broad and long range uses of
their assets to advance God’s work. The fund is retained separately and apart from those normally
received and used for continuing budgeted operations and programs of the Church. SOAR operates under
the authority of Session.
